Staying on top of Regulatory Requirements is a top priority at Housing and Development Software. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has announced the FY 2024 Fair Market Rents (FMRs). Fair Market Rents (FMRs) determine the eligibility of rental housing units for the Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments program. The FMRs are estimated on an annual basis by HUD. As announced, the effective date for FY 2024 FMRs is October 1, 2023. HDS is underway with the changes to meet this regulatory update.
