What began as a vision to reimagine housing program management has now become a reality, a fully web-based, modernized platform designed to empower agencies with greater speed, security, and scalability.

This achievement is more than a software release. It’s the culmination of years of innovation, collaboration, and invaluable client feedback. We’ve come a long way from concept to completion, and we couldn’t have done it without the partnership of our clients who provided the insights that helped shape Fusion into what it is today.

But while today is a celebration, it’s also just the beginning. Fusion is built to grow and evolve alongside your agency, ensuring that you’ll always have the tools you need to meet today’s demands and prepare for tomorrow’s opportunities.

What’s Included at Launch

NextGen Fusion (Version 4.0) brings together the best of our trusted foundation with modern technology to deliver a seamless web-based experience. At launch, you’ll find:

Fusion is available now on MyHDS. We encourage all clients to begin by installing the release in your test environment. This will give your team the opportunity to explore workflows, validate processes, and experience the new web-based platform firsthand without impacting your production environment.

Your Post-Release Transition & Support Plan

With Fusion officially live, our commitment to your success doesn’t stop here. We’ve built a comprehensive transition and support plan to guide your agency every step of the way:

  • Webinar Series (Starting October 1): Post-release webinars will introduce your team to the new web experience, highlight key features, and show you how to maximize Fusion’s potential.

  • Six-Month Transition Window: Agencies have a full six months to transition at their own pace while continuing production without disruption.

  • HDS TestNext®: A dedicated sandbox environment that mirrors your setup with your own data, giving your team the freedom to train, test workflows, and prepare confidently.

  • 1:1 Transition Sessions: Within 4–6 weeks of release, your CSM will meet with your team to review readiness, conduct a health check, and build a tailored success plan.

  • Ongoing Support: Monthly working groups, VersionCare® options, and our new Elevate® CSM program ensure that your agency remains supported long after go-live.
