While we are a COTS vendor, we categorize ourselves as a customizable-COTS solution provider, as our systems offer an array of customizable features; however, it has been the custom modifications and enhancements of our core COTS packages that have proved to be cost-effective, long-term viable solutions for many of our clients. Our past experience has demonstrated that the core functions of most agencies are similar in nature, but different in processing styles and local requirements. The core system concept of the COTS package can typically satisfy a large portion of the system requirements, while the specific modifications narrow the functionality to what the agency requires or prefers.
