Description
We’re looking for someone who can help us build a product our customers love. We want a passionate, current, best-tool-for-the-job developer we can partner with to create modern, quick, and lightweight windows and web apps for state and local governments.

Scope
You’d be working as part of a small product team under the guidance of a Product Manager. The business members of our teams determine what our customers need and share their feedback; you would help make it happen by working with our other developers to estimate, design and develop the changes.

Technical Skills

  • VB.NET, ASP.NET, VB6
  • Experience writing scripts for SQL Server and Oracle
  • Experience with DevExpress tools
  • Bachelors Degree in related fields and/or 2 or more years of relevant experience

Customer Service


Description
Responsible for managing all submitted Application related Tickets and Work Orders. Interfaces with all area affected by the live projects including end users, product development, business analyst and management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is the professional, diligent, timely and thorough resolution of user inquiries for all HDS Systems / Applications.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective delivery of customer services, prompt resolution of tickets and work orders
  • This position is responsible for performing in-depth investigation, research and documentation of all HDS ticket and work orders delivering a high level of resolution
  • Provides application support to clients and end users; troubleshooting problems for clients, routing issues to Application Coordinator, or to project implementation managers/business analysts, as appropriate.
  • Tests and evaluates software, and assist with the technical documentation such as technical notes related to the Business Unit products and services.
  • The position may involve other duties, or involvement in special projects, as determined by the needs of the department.
  • Develop the expertise required on the software supported
  • Participates on activities such as: problem identification and analysis and system/acceptance testing.

Work experience /Skills requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively with customers in understanding their business needs and challenges is vital.
  • Understanding of industry business process.
  • Unwavering patience and the ability to interact with all users in a pleasant and courteous manner are absolute necessities.
  • Excellent organization, time management and communication skills.
  • Excellent phone skills and ability to troubleshoot technical software problems remotely.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office product suite and Windows operating systems is required.
  • Two years experience in help desk or Quality Assurance is highly desirable.
  • Ability to be effective in a changing environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of experience.
