In a brief period, HDS has earned the trust of 59 agencies. Many of our clients have multiple HDS Systems implemented. With the current trend towards the full integration of the different modules, a centralized database, many web-based modules, and the ability to provide custom interfaces to State, Local and Federal data sources, this average is rapidly increasing. HDS has experienced a steady increase in new client growth of 50% over the last four to five years and has continued to grow in existing clients returning to License and implement additional HDS product software. HDS has also seen an increase in client requests for Professional Services Contracts. These contracts encompass the analysis of client business and translation into internal processes and procedures or additional module development.
HDS is committed to more than just developing the best software in the marketplace today. Among the many processes we have introduced to the affordable housing, economic development, and community development software market has been the integration of a cross functional implementation approach. HDS was the first vendor in the industry to provide project management, business analysis, and a variety of implementation options, including web-based trainings. Our customer service and technical support is a key component to our operations. Having introduced the first web-based, client accessed Work Order System, HDS' customers can report issues, request modifications, send ideas, track completed items, and generally have direct access to our staff. HDS currently employs 36 highly skilled and professional staff.
Finally, HDS' strength comes from our industry knowledge and our ability to provide related services to the marketplace. Since the company's inception, HDS has been providing Single Family Program Administration and Compliance Services to state and local HFA's throughout the United States. In partnership with nationally recognized Servicers, our expertise and our ability to provide the technology to our clients, has made us a trusted source for this type of service. This experience has also given us a unique insight into the industry which we have capitalized in our products, particularly our Loan Servicing Portfolio Management System. Since then, we have also expanded the Services Unit to include Section 8 Contract Administration services, including baselines, and monthly processing, and are currently working on sub-servicing smaller in-house portfolios for HFA's. Our Services team not only utilizes HDS software in its day to day operations, but also has enhanced them throughout the years, where they have become the most comprehensive in the marketplace. HDS is an active member of COSCDA, NACCED, NAHLFA, FLALHFA, NCSHA, MBA, IEEE, PMI and other industry-wide organizations.
